Stanislaus County is preparing to implement a mandatory face coverings in public order as a way to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus, officials said Wednesday.Stanislaus County Board Supervisor Kristin Olsen said during the Stanislaus County Office of Emergency Services daily COVID-19 briefing that the order will go into effect on Monday. Details about the order are expected to be released Friday.
