An EPS ban in all food establishments was adopted in 2013. Prior to that, the city had a government facility expanded polystyrene ban for special events.
Details of regulation: No national food vendor shall sell or otherwise provide prepared food in polystyrene foam disposable food service ware on or after January 1, 2014. No food vendor shall sell or otherwise provide prepared food in polystyrene foam disposable food service ware o or after January 1, 2015. Exemptions include undue hardship.
