Details of regulation: Restaurants are prohibited from providing prepared food to its customers in CFC-processed food packaging or polystyrene foam food packaging, purchasing, obtaining, keeping, selling, or distributing to customers or otherwise use in its business any CFC-processed food packaging or polystyrene foam food packaging. Retail food vendors are prohibited from selling take-out food in CFC-processed food packaging or polystyrene foam food packaging, purchasing, obtaining, keeping, selling, or distributing to customers or otherwise use in its business any CFC-processed food packaging or polystyrene foam food packaging. Wholesalers located and doing business within the City is prohibited from selling, distributing, or providing to customers or keeping within the City and CFC-processed food packaging or polystyrene foam food packaging. Exemptions include undue hardship.
