SACRAMENTO, CA (October 2026) — The California Grocers Association is excited to welcome Alix Volsansky to the team as Membership Manager. In this role, Alix will oversee the Association’s membership operations, support member engagement and retention, enhance member program and services, and assist with event operations.
Prior to joining CGA, Alix served as Event & Attendee Relations Manager at Hall of Flowers for six years. She was responsible for managing ongoing relationships with retailers, exhibitors, and attendees for large-scale, multi-state B2B events serving more than 5,000 participants. Previously, she was NorCal Field Marketing Manager at Bloom Farms where she managed relationships with retail partners and coordinated more than 60 events and in-store activations per month.
In her free time, Alix is an avid volunteer at community food banks across California, including Alameda County Food Bank, San Francisco-Marin County Food Bank, El Dorado County Food Bank, and Sacramento County Food Bank.
