Government facility expanded polystyrene ban.
Details of regulation: Ventura County first passed a County Resolution on October 12, 2004 prohibiting the use of Polystyrene products at all Harbor, Park, and County Government Center facilities. The Resolution stipulated that the Harbor, Parks and Facilities Departments should incorporate this prohibition into Ordinances. This was done with Ordinance No. 4383 (County Harbor) and Ordinance 4371 (County Parks/Facilities) respectively.
