A ban on expanded polystyrene food packaging products for retail sale or distribution in food facilities was adopted on March 25, 2014.
Details of regulation: No food provider shall sell or otherwise provide prepared food using polystyrene foam food service ware. Polystyrene foam food service ware shall not be sold or provided by any vendor in the City of Mountain View. Exemptions include undue hardship.
