Eps foodware ban adopted in September 2014. Effective March 2015.
Details of regulation: Retail food establishments and food providers may not sell, hand out, give away, distribute or otherwise provide prepared food in disposable food service ware that contains polystyrene foam. City facilities, city departments, and city contractors and lessees are prohibited from handing out, giving away, distributing, or providing prepared food in disposable food service ware that contains polystyrene foam. Exemptions include prepared foods prepared of packaged outside the city and coolers or ice chests intended for reuse.
