Government facility expanded polystyrene ban. Ordinance #2004-060.
Details of regulation: Prohibits the City of Aliso Viejo from purchasing, acquiring, distributing, or using food service products produced with polystyrene. Additionally, the usage of any City-owned or leased property or facility shall require that contracting parties assume responsibility for preventing the utilization and/or distribution of expanded polystyrene products by any attendee or vendor at the associated function.
