Background
On January 17, 2003, California Attorney General Bill Lockyer filed a complaint alleging several CGA member companies violated Proposition 65 by failing to provide clear and reasonable warnings to their customers regarding purchasing tuna, swordfish and shark. The complaint alleges these fish contain chemicals that trigger Prop. 65 warning requirements.
