

The California Grocers Association is a non-profit, statewide trade association representing the food industry since 1898. CGA represents approximately 500 retail members operating over 6,000 food stores in California and Nevada, and approximately 300 grocery supplier companies. Retail membership includes chain and independent supermarkets, convenience stores and mass merchandisers.

CGA Participates in Pandemic Flu Planning Workshop
(6.27.08) - SAN FRANCISCO - The CGA Educational Foundation co-sponsored a one-day pandemic flu planning exercise on June 26 to help employers develop strategies for protecting their employees during a pandemic crisis. More than 150 individuals from the private and public sector participated. Attendees heard from leading experts and participated in facilitated exercises designed to resolve challenges during such a crisis.
